Advanced Instrumentation Workshop
The Advanced Instrumentation Workshop (AIW) is a 2-day workshop that is offered to students and faculty from colleges across Texas and the surrounding region. Participants receive hands-on training on various instruments and equipment to which they may not have access at their home institution. Generally, participants rotate through 3 separate workshops covering different instrumentation/techniques in each session.
We have hosted 16 workshops (2007-2023); overall participation
- 471 students
- 125 faculty
- Across 52 unique schools, including
- 7 Historically Black Colleges and Universities
- 13 Hispanic-Serving Institutions.
